Truth is in the logic

Although it has now been more than 25 years since this happened, this is the story of my near death experience. My NDE started when I purchased a used pickup that I found online. A friend and I, and my 2 and a half year old son, went to pick it up from a gentleman in Spanish Fork Utah. Spanish Fork is a little country town on the outskirts of Provo, Utah.  The truck didn’t have a battery and had been sitting for a little while. We installed a battery and all seemed to be well. We had decided that we were going to take the truck to my friend's place that wasn’t far from there so we could go through the truck a little more. It was dusk by the time we had installed the battery, and we headed to his place. About half way there, the truck lost electrical power and died. I pulled off the road as far as I could, but due to a steep embankment, I couldn’t get off the road entirely.
